Pujols doesnt want to be the man not even in Spanish

Many St. Louis Cardinals fans might disagree, but Albert Pujols still has plenty of class. He isn't going to change his stance on a nickname that he felt was disrespectful to the greatest Cardinal of all.

The Angels put up 20 billboards in Southern California with Pujols' photo and "El Hombre" on them. "El Hombre" translates into "The Man" in Spanish, and as far as Pujols is concerned, there's only one guy named "The Man," and that's Hall of Famer Stan Musial.

"I had nothing to do with [the billboards]. They [the Angels] haven't talked to me about it," Pujols said, according to the Los Angeles Times. "... I prefer they not use that."

The Angels said there's a big difference in context on the West Coast, but they'll work with Pujols in the future on any marketing. Yet while Pujols is still thinking of St. Louis in one way degree, he says he's moved on in other ways.

"I can't go back and feel sorry," he said, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "It's time to move forward. It's like another chapter in my life and it's time to open a new one. I don't' want to go look over my shoulder and regret the decisions I made. It was the best for me and my family."
